Bluetooth-controlled robot launched in Japan
We've been looking for an excuse to justify
getting a Bluetooth cellphone, and all the usual reasons, like wireless headsets, or even wireless
stereo headsets, have failed to entice us. What
we really want is something amazingly fun, but ultimately utterly impractical and useless. Like a Bluetooth robot that
can be controlled via cellphone. Luckily for us, Japan's KDDI has hooked up with Toshiba to offer just such a bot.
While it's a Japan-only item for now, and costs over $1,800, we're dying to get one, if only to see what our
Robosapien makes of it when the phone-bot comes charging
across the room at it.
