As of this writing: 6 people answered the first question with a 'bricked' response, yet 32 people have responded to the follow-up, brick-only question. The most popular answer to the second question is currently: "My iPhone was unhacked, but Apple didn't unbrick it for me. Oh the humanity!"

I haven't answered the poll - but was tempted.

The first day I had my new iPhone, some 6 or so weeks, I did the first 1.0.1 upgrade which bricked by phone and Apple COULDN'T un-brick it... They had to give me a new one!
