I really wanted the HTC Touch, but when the price dropped on the iPhone, it was cheaper. So I got the iphone.

I've had the HTC Touch for a month now and based on that usage and using friends' iPhones, I would say that the iPhone wins on usability. However, the reason I opted against the iPhone is that it lacks in functionality. It's fine for some people, but it just wasn't right for me.
