This information would have been nice to have a week ago so i could have saved $200 on my s500i :(

Ditto....I didn't think AT&T would pick up this model, so I plopped down a large sum of cash to get one from an online retailer. I mean, it's a great phone, and mine doesn't suffer from the button cracking issues that others do, but...DAMN. I could have saved a LOT of cash.

if you only got it a week ago, you can return it, you're still in the 30 day return period.

On the bright side, i have a phone with the firmware intended to run on it, not att's horrible firmware
