Freedom Input's Bluetooth GPS receiver hangs on your keychain
It's not like the Bluetooth GPS receiver market really needed another combatant, but for those who prefer carrying as much as of their life as possible on a key ring, this one's for you. Coming in at a minuscule 1.54- x 1.3- x 0.79-inches in size, this SiRF Star III-equipped device can connect simultaneously to up to 20 satellite channels, operate for ten hours on a single charge, sports a tracking sensitivity of 159 dBm, supports an external antenna, and purportedly plays nice with your BT-enabled device from up to ten meters away thanks to Bluetooth 2.0. Charging is handled by the included cigarette adapter or USB charger, and while we wouldn't be keen on losing a $99.99 receiver right along with our keys, this should prove quite convenient if you're the organized type.

Even though it is small, it looks too big to be put on a keychain.

That Audi key is bout the size of a Zippo lighter. It looks like the GPS is about the same size. You get used to it (the Audi key, that is.)
I just wouldn't want BOTH on the same keyring.

Only $99? To get a new Audi key and get it programmed runs about $250. If anything it would keep me from loosing the tiny GPS.

My Toyota Prius keyfob is over $300 to replace (I have the keyless entry system installed - so worth it!) so it's not like $99 would make me worry any more than I already do...granted, the keys are almost always in my pocket, so I know where they are.

If you think it is too heavy. You can always carry it with the other gadgets you have in your gadget bag aka manbag.

The Audi Key is $269 anyway. Losing your keys is a big deal already!

It's a receiver. It doesn't transmit, so you won't be able to use it to find your keys. :)
Still pretty nice though.
