Now, I said all of that without reading the article... So I decided to go back and make sure I wasn't being dumb... So here it is, straight from the horses mouth:

"Our strategy relies on a product that provides excellent image quality, since the picture is shown in a viewer that protects it from stray light."

Please note how "the picture is shown in a viewer." Also known as, not a projector. Honestly Engadget... Starting to get kind of disappointed...
